1. Xiaomi 12 Ultra
Citing GSM Arena, the launch date of this flagship cellphone is planned for July 5. Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be Xiaomi’s most premium smartphone. The features and price will outperform the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X. The design looks striking thanks to the circular camera. Carrying a quad-camera system, rumors are that the main camera has a resolution of 50MP and a 48MP ultra wide camera. The rest are two periscope cameras with different focal lengths. This cellphone is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and jumbo RAM up to 12GB. There are two internal storage options, namely 256GB and 512GB. Not to forget, this cellphone is reinforced by a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 120W.
2. Asus ROG Phone 6
Reported by the Times of India, the company has confirmed the launch of this gaming smartphone, which is on July 5 and broadcast on its official YouTube channel. What makes it stand out is the 18GB RAM support. Anti-lag club! The internal memory is also quite spacious, which is 512GB. The operating system is the latest, namely Android 12. Its appearance is supported by the ROG UI which is built by HP. Because playing games is very draining, Asus has embedded a 6,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. Who said smartphone gaming cameras had “potatoes”? With a triple camera system, the main camera has a resolution of 64MP and the rest are ultra wide and macro cameras. The front camera is estimated to be “only” 12MP, whereas other recent smartphones average 16MP or more.
3. iQOO 9T
At the end of July, the iQOO 9T is expected to launch in India. Unfortunately, until now there has been no leaked rendering of the image. However, at least the company has confirmed that the iQOO 9T will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile chip. Citing Gizmochina, this phone is likely to come in two variants, namely 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal memory. The size of the battery is not yet known, but it is rumored that it will have 120W fast charging support.
4. Moto G42
Actually, the Moto G42 has been launched in the global market. However, it went on sale in India on July 11, reported by The Indian Express. The chipset used is Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 with 4GB RAM and runs on Android 12 OS. Even though it is included in the entry level category, the features are not kidding. There are three rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary camera that functions as ultra wide and depth at the same time, and a 2MP macro. Meanwhile, the front camera comes in 16MP resolution. The battery capacity is quite large, which is 5,000mAh with support for 20W TurboPower charging. There is only one variant available, namely 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is pegged at 13,999 rupees (around Rp. 2.6 million).
5. Redmi K50i 5G
In fact, the Redmi Note 11T Pro launched in China was rebranded as Redmi K50i 5G in India. The launch date is still unclear. Some sources say July 20, some July 24, even August 10. Rumor has it that the Redmi K50i 5G will greet you with a 6.67-inch LCD screen that supports Full HD + resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 8100 is installed as a kitchen runway with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. There are three rear cameras, namely 64MP (main), 8MP (ultra wide), and 2MP (macro) and a 16MP selfie camera. This cellphone runs on Android 12 OS with a 5,080mAh battery capacity and 67W fast charging support.
6. Oppo Reno 8 Series
The company has confirmed that the Oppo Reno 8 series will be launched in India on 18 July. There are three types, namely Oppo Reno 8, 8 Pro, and 8 Pro +. All three have been launched earlier in China. However, reportedly the Type 8 Pro+ was not launched in India. The Reno 8 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor and runs on Android 12 OS. There are three choices of RAM and internal storage, namely 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The battery capacity is 4,500mAh with 80W fast charging support.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. Reported by India Today, there is only one choice of RAM and internal memory, namely 12GB and 256GB. The battery capacity and operating system are the same. Oppo Reno 8 has a triple camera system on the back, consisting of a 50MP + 2MP + 2MP (macro) main camera with a 32MP front camera. On the other hand, the Reno 8 Pro camera is more advanced, consisting of 50MP + 8MP (ultra wide) + 2MP (macro), with a front camera with the same resolution.
7. OnePlus 10T
Last but not least is the OnePlus 10T, a flagship that will hit the market on July 10 and its estimated global price tag is $600. This phone will come in a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, citing Crast. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, this makes the performance significantly improved and more efficient. Up to 12GB of RAM is provided with 256GB of internal storage. The battery capacity is 4,800mAh with support for 150W fast charging. Just like some other smartphones, there are three rear cameras. It consists of a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide, and 2MP macro. Meanwhile, the front camera is 16MP.
