Honor Magic V Launches, With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 This is the Price

Honor’s first foldable smartphone, Magic V was officially released Monday (10/1/2022),
The Magic V, comes with flagship specs, including the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
Compared to the previous generation, its performance has improved significantly. With OS Turbo X technology and GPU Turbo X, the overall performance output is more stable and durable.
The Magic V screen is quite wide, measuring 7.9 inches when opened. When closed, Honor’s first foldable phone has a 6.45-inch external display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels.

In terms of battery life, the Honor Magic V has a built-in 4750 mAh high capacity battery. It uses an asymmetrical dual battery structure and supports 66W wired fast charging. This foldable smartphone results in longer battery life and faster charging.
In the camera department, the Honor Magic V comes with a triple vertical rear camera solution, using a 50MP main camera (1/1.5 inch super large) as well as a 50MP ultra-wide-angle and a 50MP auxiliary camera. On the front, the Honor Magic V comes with a 42MP camera in the punch-hole. This camera gets crystal clear self-portraits and video calls, no matter the fold.
The Honor Magic V is available in three color options including a titanium silver, bright black, and orange model. The black model has AG glass, and the orange model features a leather finish.
As for the silver model, it has a thin vertical line under the glass. The pre-sale of the device starts today while its first live sale will be held on January 18th.
In terms of price, Magic V offers two versions. The 12GB + 256GB version is priced at 9,999 yuan ($1,568) or approximately IDR 22.4 million, while the 12GB + 512GB version is priced at 10,999 yuan ($1,725) or approximately IDR 24.6 million.
