
HTC releases Desire : Even though they don’t often present cellphones as they used to, HTC still has the desire to produce cellphones in the midst of fierce competition. The reason is, this Taiwanese company has just launched a new device called the Desire 22 Pro. HTC claims this phone is made specifically for the metaverse.
For information, the Desire 22 Pro is the successor to the Desire 21 Pro, which is the company’s series of phones geared towards the metaverse. The phone is being marketed as the “perfect companion” to the recently launched HTC Vive Flow VR headset. As the name suggests, this headset offers users the opportunity to experience virtual reality, which is the basis of the metaverse. Keep in mind that this headset is compatible with any Android phone, but the Desire 22 Pro may offer some exclusive features or functions.
HTC releases Desire Reporting from Gizmochina (28/6), some of the new features include access to digital wallets to help manage cryptocurrencies and even comes with free NFT. Talking about device specifications, the Desire 22 Pro features a 6.6-inch FHD+ display that has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a punch hole on the front for a 32 MP selfie camera.
Inside, the device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Desire 22 Pro packs a 4,520 mAh battery capacity that supports wireless charging and reverse charging.
On the back, the latest product has a triple camera configuration consisting of a 64 MP main camera, a 13 MP wide-angle lens, and a 5 MP depth sensor. Even HTC designed the Desire 22 Pro with IP67 certification so that it is water and dust resistant. In terms of software, it runs on top of Android 12. The price for the HTC Desire is 499 GBP (Rp 9 million).
