A leak from Pricebaba reveals that OPPO will be presenting two foldable smartphones in the near future with support for the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
Oppo is reportedly going to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon chipset for its upcoming foldable smartphone. As rumored recently, the company will be releasing a successor to the Find N, which launched last year with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.
A leak from Pricebaba reveals that OPPO will be presenting two foldable smartphones in the near future. This includes foldable phones with clamshell models and foldable phones such as tablets. The leak also mentions that both devices will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
OPPO will compete with Samsung, if the leak is true. Likely, the clamshell folding model will be called the OPPO Find N Flip, while the tablet folding model will be called the Find N Fold. Both phones have reportedly been registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
The Find N Flip will join the recently launched Motorola Razr 2022, which also features the same chipset. This phone challenges the Galaxy Z Flip4, with a 6.7-inch OLED screen specifications with HDR10+ and a 144Hz refresh rate, while on the front there is a 2.7-inch front screen.
The Motorola Razr 2022 carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with the MyUI 4.0 interface. This chipset is combined with two RAM options, namely 8GB+128GB and 12GB+512GB. For audio, the phone is equipped with dual Dolby Atmos speakers.
The Motorola Razr 2022 rear camera specifications consist of a 50MP main camera complete with OIS and a 121-degree 13MP ultrawide. The front camera is 32MP resolution.
Since there isn’t much information regarding a potential date for the launch of OPPO’s next foldable phone, Pricebaba speculates this will come in the next few months.
