We review the main differences between Xiaomi Poco X3 Specs vs. Poco X3 Pro and let you know which option is the best.
Poco X3 or Poco X3 Pro, which one should I buy? It is my first time facing two very similar models. The two X3 series phones share many features and differ only in 4 areas: performance, storage, camera, and price. Here you can read a review of all the differences and which option is better to buy.
The main difference is in performance.
The main difference between Poco X3 and Poco X3 Pro is performance. The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro Specs feature much more powerful specifications, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor and up to 8 GB of RAM. The Poco X3 NFC has a good processor but offers lower performance and fewer features. It is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, which in this case, has 6 GB of RAM.
Not only in capacity but in speed. The Poco X3 has 64 or 128 GB of internal memory, while the Poco X3 Pro has 128 or up to 256 GB of memory. In addition, the Poco X3 has UFS 2.1 and 2.2 speeds for the 64 and 128 GB variants, respectively. Poco X3 Pro has UFS 3.1. It translates, among other things, into higher transfer rates, also in internal memory.
There is a small difference in the Quad cameras in both models, with very similar configurations but odd differences. The funny thing is, in this section, the Poco X3 NFC wins over the Poco X3 Pro if we only consider the specifications.
The Poco X3 has a 64-megapixel main lens, while the Poco X3 Pro has 48 megapixels. The wide-angle camera has also changed: 13 megapixels for the Poco X3, while the Poco X3 Pro is 8 megapixels. The other two sensors are the same, dedicated to macro and depth-of-field photography. The front camera also has the same settings.
Price and conclusion, which one is more worth it?
Let’s see the price and which option is better. The Poco X3 NFC is the cheapest model, priced at 230 euros for the 6GB and 64GB versions. The standard Poco X3 Pro variant, which includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, is priced at 250 euros. There is a difference of only 20 euros between the two Poco brand phones.
The truth is that the Poco X3 NFC and Poco X3 Pro are very similar devices. Same display, same screen size, and same battery capacity… The main differences are in performance, storage, and camera; each sticks out in a single box.
The Poco X3 Pro gains power thanks to the Snapdragon 860, a new Qualcomm model dedicated to inexpensive high-end phones. It’s not as powerful as the Snapdragon 888 we saw on the OnePlus 9 Pro, but it’s faster than the Snapdragon 732, which includes the Poco X3 NFC. On the other hand, the Pro model has more internal memory and a higher transfer speed.
The advantage of the Poco X3 NFC is in the photography section. It is achieved thanks to the higher resolution main sensor and a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens compared to 8 megapixels on the Pro model.
Both models are good options if you’re looking for a cheap phone. The Poco X3 Pro is perfect if you prioritize performance over the camera. The Poco X3 NFC is an excellent alternative if you don’t need a powerful phone for gaming but want a good camera. Whatever your decision, the Poco X3 NFC and Poco X3 Pro will continue to do very well in camera and performance, but one is better than the other in those two features.
