Gaming hardware maker Razer announced that it is developing the Razer Edge 5G game console, and it will launch on October 15 at the Mobile World Conference event in Las Vegas, Nevada. The creation is the result of a collaboration between Razer, Verizon, and Qualcomm.  will offer 5th generation internet network connectivity. This device is also said to be able to run games without being connect to the internet. The Razer Edge 5G is equip with the Snapdragon G3X Gen 1 platform that was announc last year along with a dev kit made by Razer that does have similarities with the . Being an Android-based device, users can certainly run all mobile games available on the Google Play Store and run cloud gaming and game streaming services from a PC or console.

The Razer Edge 5G may feature a 6.65-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate as well as an exclusive Adreno GPU. It will also feature active cooling, a 6,000 mAh battery. 1080P for live streaming and will feature a 4K TV or monitor. AR and VR headsets via USB-C with DisplayPort support. The Razer Edge 5G, suggests that it is an update of the original  which came out in 2013. The new Edge lets users play mobile games locally as well as streaming console games and cloud games. Regardless, it’s going up against some of the big players like the Nintendo Switch. Steam Deck, and even the recently announced G Cloud handheld by Logitech.
