Sony Xperia 1 IV : Sony is expected to introduce their latest flagship smartphone in April or May which is believed to be called the Sony Xperia 1 IV and rumors about this device are starting to surface.
The first renders of the Sony Xperia 1 IV in Latest Gadget News surfaced from LetsgoDigital and YouTuber Technizo Concept, providing an early glimpse of what Sony’s upcoming flagship smartphone might look like.
The Sony Xperia 1 IV is expected to have a 6.5-inch flat screen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus with 4K resolution. The display will reportedly have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 21:9 aspect ratio making it perfect for viewing movies and other content streamed from an app.
In terms of processors, it is likely that this smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chipset from Qualcomm, which is the successor to last year’s Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The Sony Xperia is expected to come with 12GB or 16GB RAM options, 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
The fingerprint scanner will most likely be integrated with the power button and under the volume control along the right side of the device is a dedicated button dedicated to two-stage camera operation.
The Google Assistant button is rumored to be omitted on the Sony Xperia 1 IV this year. The SIM card compartment is located on the bottom of the device next to the USB-C port and the second speaker. The front-facing stereo speakers support 360 Reality Audio and Dolby Atmos, and there’s also a 3.5mm earphone jack.
The rear camera configuration has not come to light for now. Last year’s Sony Xperia 1 III had three 12MP camera sensors behind a wide, ultrawide and telephoto lens with optical magnifications of 2.9x and 4.4x. There are rumors calling for a 50MP and 48MP Quad-Bayer camera sensor to be present on the Sony .
The Sony will certainly support 5G connectivity, run the Android 12 operating system, and will receive the same three Android updates as the Google Pixel 6 series, and this smartphone will probably be introduced in April or May alongside the Sony Xperia 5 IV.
The Sony Xperia 5 IV itself was previously rumored to have a more compact screen, which is 6.1 inches protected by Gorilla Glass Victus with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus produced by TSMC and not Samsung, as well as a triple camera configuration on the back.
