Tecno POP 6 : Tecno Mobile has released its newest entry-level smartphone, namely Tecno POP 6 as the successor of Tecno POP 5 which was launched in 2021.
This smartphone running the Android 11 Go Edition operating system is here for the first time in Nigeria and it is very likely that the company will also market it in other regions, including Indonesia in the near future.
Tecno POP 6 packs a 6.1-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution (720 x 1,560 pixels).
The screen has a water drop-shaped notch that houses a 5 MP selfie camera and is accompanied by an LED flash on the right.
On the back there are two cameras, both of which have a resolution of 5 MP. Both cameras are supported by dual LED flash which is ready to help lighting really take photos or videos in low light places.
For the innards, the company still hasn’t revealed the type of chipset they use in this cheap phone. The official Tecno Mobile website only reveals that the Tecno POP 6 is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core SoC.
The SoC is combined with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage (ROM). To get additional storage space provided a microSD card slot.
HP Tecno POP 6 is supported by a 5,000 mAh battery that can be recharged via a microUSB cable. The connectivity features it provides include a Dual SIM (nano) slot with 4G LTE network, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
As a device security system, the company also supports it with a fingerprint scanner sensor on the back of the cellphone and there is also a Face ID feature so that users can unlock the screen using their face.
Available in Sea Blue, Sky Blue, and Lime Green color variants, this phone is priced at 52,700 naira or equivalent to Rp. 1.8 million. So far there is still no sign of his presence in Indonesia.
Recently, the Chinese company has also launched the Tecno Spark 9 Pro. This phone relies on the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset combined with two choices of RAM capacities, namely 4 GB and 6 GB with 128 GB of internal storage memory.
In terms of durability, the Tecno Spark 9 Pro is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that is supported by the 18W fast charging feature.
