Three Official Xiaomi : Xiaomi officially introduced their latest flagship smartphone series consisting of Xiaomi 12X, vanilla Xiaomi 12, and their top variant namely Xiaomi 12 Pro with the highest specs that the company can offer for now.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro was announced by the company in Latest Gadget News through their official website along with their premium smartwatch, their latest TWS, as well as the latest MIUI 13 operating system based on Android 12.
As the company has promised in the teaser that the company has shared, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and is ready to compete with the Honor Magic3 and Motorola Edge X30 smartphone series which are also powered by the same processor.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has an AMOLED screen from Samsung that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass and is supported by LTPO technology which can display an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz depending on the content displayed on the user’s screen.
The screen with a diagonal size of 6.73 inches also supports up to 1 billion colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a maximum brightness level of up to 1,500nits which makes this smartphone comfortable to use in the hot sun.
There is a punch hole that houses a 32MP front camera, while on the back there is a triple camera configuration, all of which have a 50MP resolution consisting of a telephoto camera, an ultrawide camera, and a Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS and Dual Pixel PDAF.
There is an optical fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen for biometric authentication and this smartphone has LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.1 storage, as well as stereo speakers in collaboration with Harman Kardon.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 4,600mAh battery supported by 120W super fast charging which is claimed to be charged from 0 to 100 percent in just 18 minutes and 50W wireless fast charging which is claimed to be fully charged in just 42 minutes.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro is launched in Black, Blue, Pink or Green color options with synthetic leather, with a price tag of CNY4,699 (approx. million) for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and CNY5,399 (approximately Rp. 12 million) for 12GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi 12 series of smartphones will be available in mainland China on December 31 and their global availability along with the price announced by the company will follow.
