
Xiaomi 12 and : Xiaomi has officially introduced their two flagship smartphones namely Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro in their homeland in China about two weeks ago and there has been no official information regarding their global release until yesterday.
Through the list of Indonesia Telecom certifications reported by the mysmartprice.com site, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro in the Latest Gadget News have pocketed the SDPPI certification which indicates that their release in Indonesia as well as globally will be held soon.
The global variant of the vanilla Xiaomi 12 is certified with the model number 2201123G, while the Xiaomi 12 Pro is certified with the model number 2201122G. However, the list does not show the specifications of the two smartphones.
The Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro in China are powered by Qualcomm’s current flagship chipset namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and it is likely that the global variant will launch with the same chipset. Both smartphones will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a battery with a capacity of 4,600mAh with support for fast charging via cable 120W and 50W wirelessly, while the vanilla Xiaomi 12 has a battery capacity of 4,500mAh with fast charging via a cable of 67W and 50W wirelessly.
Both smartphones are equipped with a triple camera configuration with different sensors, where the Xiaomi 12 Pro has a Sony IMX707 main camera with a 50MP resolution accompanied by an ultrawide and telephoto camera, both of which also have a 50MP resolution.
While the vanilla Xiaomi 12 variant will have a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera accompanied by an ultrawide camera with a 13MP resolution and a telemacro camera with a 5MP resolution.
Both of these smartphones have AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rate support, where the Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 6.7-inch screen with a 2K resolution, while the Xiaomi 12 screen measures 6.28 inches with a 6.28-inch resolution.
Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro were launched with the MIUI 12.5 interface based on the Android 11 operating system and are scheduled to get the MIUI 13 update in the first quarter of 2022.
